Contoh: I love EnglishKiki sweeps the floor every day. Perhatikan kata yang dicetak tebal, kata-kata yang dicetak tebal merupakan kata kerja (verb). Jadi kesimpulannya kalimat-kalimat tersebut digolongkan verbal sentence.
  2. Nominal sentence adalah kalimat yang tidak ada kata kerja didalamnya (out of verb), jadi wajib ditambahkan auxiliary verb BE (am, is, are, was, were). Nominal sentence  bisa mempergunakan adjective (kata sifat), noun (kata benda), pronoun (kata ganti, atau adverb (kata keterangan). Contoh: Risman is busy/Risman is not busy (adjective); They are students/They are not students (noun); It is me/It is not me (pronoun); We are not here/We are not here (adverb). Perhatikan kalimat-kalimatnya, karena tidak ada verb maka BE (am, is, are) ini berfungsi sebagai main verb (kata kerja utama) dalam kalimat tersebut.
Ada beberapa kesalahan yang seringkali ditemui dalam susunan sebuah kalimat.
  1. Tidak adanya BE dalam nominal sentence. Contoh: I beautiful seharusnya I am beautiful; He a handsome boy seharusnya He is a handsome boyWe at school seharusnya We are at school. Kata-kata yang dicetak tebal merupakan BE. Jadi intinya jangan pernah lupakan BE dalam nominal sentence.
  2. Adanya BE dalam verbal sentence. Contoh: They are work seharusnya They work; I am live in Bogor seharusnya I live in Bogor. Kata-kata yang dicetak tebal meruapakan verb, jadi tidak perlu lagi ditambahkan BE ke dalam kalimat tersebut.

It's My Life(Sample)

Andaikan malam dapat tetap menghangatkan aku disini..

Mungkin aku takan pernah mencoba untuk mencari kembali..

Dan bila waktu yang ada di bumi dapat ku genggam ..

Kan ku hadirkan keindahan rasa yang tak pernah di bayangkan ..

Perlahan kelam kan bergantikan sebuah asa yang telah terhujam ..

Aku kan tetap terus menantikan bertumbuhnya SATU RASA dalam penantianku ini..

Example in my mind :')
